Our tennis team had an undefeated season last year. This year, the team moved up to Division 1 in the City Conference Western League. The competition for the 2018 season has been a solid challenge, and one of their proudest wins was against their rival Cathedral Catholic. They are coached by Mark Truver who has helped them hold the record of 5-6 overall. Kensington Thornrose, a captain this year, has played on Varsity all 4 years. When asked about this season, she said, “I’m sad it’s almost over. Good luck to the girls next year and I love you all!” Her comments prove the great bond and caring nature of the team. In addition, Sarah Munoz, a player on the Varsity team, also shows her love for the team with the statement, “We are more than just tennis. We are a family. Whether through a beach clean up, a pool party, or getting ice cream, we are always doing things that brings us closer.” We wish our tennis team good luck in CIF!
