The Pointers cross country team had a great turnout during the meet at Rohr Park on September 8th. It was the second race of the season, but the first 5k the varsity men had to race. Prior to the race, runners faced the hardest week of practice this season in order to get comfortable with the conditions that they were going to have to face. It’s still early in the season with plenty of growth for the Pointers potential.
The Point Loma varsity women’s cross country team took fifth at the meet with Scripps Ranch. The top three runners during the race were Isabella Ramos, Zoey White, and Annie Guhse. The Varsity men's cross country team got third place at the meet with St. John Bosco. The top three finishers were Noah Snider, Maximus Kelly, and Toby Feiler, who were all in the top twenty of finishers, with Noah being in the top ten.
